IWIB Talk 'The Metaverse & Cryptocurrencies' with expert Gina Pari

IWIB is honored to have Gina Pari back as a guest speaker.  This time around Gina will talk about how Cryptocurrencies & The Metaverse. 

Gina Pari is the Head of Sales at Safello and an early investor in cryptocurrencies, blockchain advocate. She is also the founder of the Bolivian Blockchain Association and SweBlocks.  Gina has solid knowledge in operations and business strategy, +16 years of combined experience in SaaS, eye tracking, channel sales, contract negotiation, and relationship building.

Examples of Crypto & The Metaverse: 

The Polygon (MATIC) ecosystem/segment has a market cap of $203 Billion and is compatible with an array of Metaverse projects, such as Decentraland and the Sandbox. MATIC is also heavily used to transact NFTs on OpenSea as it enables lower transaction/gas fees than Ethereum.

The Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem market cap surpassed $46,5 Billion today. This platform allows for various types of blockchains to transfer data and value, thus paving way for a decentralised #Web3.0. Currently, DOT is the world’s 9th largest cryptocurrency, with a market cap of $27,8 Billion.
